“Hi guys,
I just wanted to write and let you know how wonderful it was of you guys to come see us one last time and sing for us. I swear I felt like I was at a concert again and the best thing about this concert was I was high on the Love of the Lord and can remember everything that happened!!.....I have always loved your music and I swear you guys get better every time I see you. As soon as they move us I will be sending for your CD and can hardly wait to get it. I also want you to know that even though I am on death row the Lord is really blessing me daily and doing great things in my life. I hope you guys can make it down to where they are moving us . But even if we never meet again you will still be touching my life with your music.
Love you, your brother in Christ”
“The feedback that I have received is that edenlight’s music affects the guys here the same way David’s harp did for Saul. The music soothes the heart and allows the guys to escape from the confines of jail for a few minutes and leave refreshed. This ministry is unique in this purpose. We have lots of groups pass through here but none that has this effect.”
“………Your voice Sue, and Dave your inspirational words and musical skills really touched me in ways I can’t even describe. This is my first time in a while that I actually felt some hope. Thank you!”
“Thank you for your ministry and your down to earth attitude. To minister in a prison setting one must not have an attitude that ‘I am coming to help these poor souls’ That type of behavior turns inmates off. I appreciate the openness you both have. It is the Sprit of Christ in both of you. The men on Death Row ask frequently when you will be coming back.”
“Dear Edenlight,
Today you performed at the chapel at Mercer State Prison and I would just like to thank you and commend you on a sterling program. Your love for Jesus and each other shone through each beautiful song that you did. There were times I could barely contain my tears. My wife will be visiting on Tuesday and I can hardly wait to tell her about your concert.”
“Please pray for our victims and their families that God will heal their wounds and restore that which was lost.”
“From the first note, the audience was blown away by Sue’s voice which, backed by her husband’s precision on guitar, soared and slid with power. Her voice connected with listener’s inner emotions so they could feel each word and note.”
“The songwriting is so raw and real it truly put me in a better state of mind. You guys are awesome!!”
